Empower families to end generational poverty

wealth begins with a simple meeting
For decades, community organizations serving marginalized families have worked tirelessly to provide financial education, job training, and resources to help break cycles of poverty. But despite these efforts, generational poverty remains a deeply rooted issue.
Why? Because ending generational poverty isn't just about teaching financial literacy - it's about transforming how families think about wealth, worthiness, and legacy.
At the Institute for Worthy Living, we empower community organizations to go beyond traditional financial literacy programming to break the cycle of generational poverty. Central to our approach is the Family Legacy Meeting—an exclusive, strength-based process designed to foster true financial transformation by empowering families to shift mindsets, beliefs, and family dynamics around money.
This solution-focused approach incorporates powerful success principles and practical tools that make it easier for families to take ownership of their wealth-building journey.
We invite progressive community organizations providing financial literacy and/or wealth education programming to send select staff to our Family Legacy Meeting Training. The comprehensive 3-day sessions produce FLM facilitators prepared to lead families through the transformative sessions to build and sustain generational wealth.
